Ergobaby is helping pioneer new commerce technologies by being one of the first merchants to launch on Magento 2.1. Ergobaby now stands to reap the benefits of content staging and preview, elastic search, Varnish page caching, visual merchandising, payment enhancements with PayPal In Context Checkout and Braintree Hosted Fields, faster checkouts and more efficient and time saving management enhancements. Improving their site’s design and upgrading their platform to Magento 2.1 has improved customer engagement and interactions while increasing efficiencies and lowering costs.
Guidance recommended that Ergobaby convert to the new Magento 2.1 platform with integrations to Epicor (ERP), Wyomind (inventory), Braintree, Paypal Plus, Avalara Tax, BazaarVoice, and TagTray. A customized megamenu and configurator for bundled products was developed for Ergobaby’s specific customer needs. These changes are played a critical role in allowing Ergobaby to scale in current markets while expanding to additional countries. Guidance has launched Ergobaby sites in Canada, North America and Germany. In addition to these B2C sites, Guidance has launched a dedicated Ergobaby B2B site on Magento 2.1 in North America.
