K-Swiss was founded by two Swiss brothers in 1966 who created a shoe brand focused on Tennis shoes. The K-Swiss brand quickly gained worldwide acclaim and became a style statement both on and off the tennis court. After being on a different e-commerce platform and having some experience on the Shopify Plus platform, K-Swiss decided to move to Shopify Plus and choose Guidance as their solution partner to help with the transition for not only K-Swiss, but also its two sister brands, Supra and Palladium.

The Guidance team started with an in-depth technical discovery for all three brands, K-Swiss, Supra and Palladium. Upon a thorough analysis of the findings from the technical discovery and the documentation, the Guidance team initiated a kick off meeting with K-Swiss and started the re-platform to Shopify Plus. K-Swiss required significant front end development requests, such as hoover effects and a carousel which required customization of the Shopify Plus template. There were also several integrations that took place within this project including, ERP integrations with SAP and Orliwed for inventory integration, Langify for translations to several different languages and Bronto ESP integration. K-Swiss had a very aggressive time to market which required expert development resources from Guidance. As a result, the Guidance team was able to meet the time to market goals and launched all three websites in multiple languages and currencies in just five (5) weeks.
