As our Technical Quality Assurance Lead you will work to improve and reshape Quality Assurance testing. Responsibilities include:

  • Defining, implementing and executing test strategy; 
  • Building and managing onshore and offshore test teams; 
  • Improving, implementing and enforcing the right processes and procedures to continue to deliver top quality solutions. 

Tasks performed will include but are not limited to test planning, being hands-on and performing a wide range of test activities, researching and implementing test automation, test environment setup/teardown, defect logging and verification.


Qualifications

  • Work collaboratively with project managers, technical leads, and architects to define and execute tests throughout the project lifecycle. Projects include B2B, B2C, ecommerce and mobile solutions.
  • Work on several client projects in a consulting environment.
  • Provide overall management and coordination activities for all aspects of software release in an agile-based development environment.
  • Provide guidance and assign work to the other QA members.
  • Create, review, execute, and maintain test collateral: system test plans, system test procedures, test scripts, and defect reports.
  • Conduct functional, system, integration, ad hoc, black and white box, browser compatibility, regression, performance/benchmarking, stress/load tests, and document defects.
  • Automate tests where appropriate (including researching and evaluating open source options).
  • Verify that load, scalability, performance requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) have been met.
  • Coordinate QA activities across different teams and make sure that all QAs are aligned to strategic business goals.
  • Responsible for the scheduling and management of resources to fulfil the demand for the effective delivery of testing function through all environments.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, Computer Science/MIS or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of QA concepts and methodology, best practices, processes, tools, and metrics
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in QA, testing ecommerce enterprise and mobile applications
  • Minimum 3 years practical experience as a QA test lead with a proven ability to ensure high quality results
  • Minimum 3 years e-commerce experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience and proficiency with web technologies (e.g. include SQL Server, Windows Server, .NET, PHP)
  • Experience with automated load and stress testing (e.g, JMeter, JUnit, Blazemeter, Cucumber, Bhat, etc.)
  • Experience in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, must possess a positive attitude, and have the ability to lead small to mid-size teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including isolating defects in complex code
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proven track record of driving multiple teams on parallel projects, balancing resourcing and priority to meet business need
  • Able to oversee the development and execution of automated and manual test plans; and monitoring and reporting on test executions while focusing on roadmap and future projects
  • Strong organizational skills, tracking multiple test executions simultaneously and ability to synthesize the results
  • Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal setting
  • Proven ability to rapidly master and utilize leading-edge technologies to innovate creative test solutions and improve efficiency
  • Data driven and sets clear, measurable quality goals for an organization
  • Experience with Magento and EPiServer strongly desired
  • Responsive design experience a plus
  • Understanding of SDLC and web development
  • Experience with Git, GitHub or other version control software is required
