The devastating losses in Oklahoma as a result of yesterday’s tornado are truly heartbreaking. Cited by Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin as “one of (the) most horrific storms and disasters that this state has ever faced”, we are reaching out to you so, together, we can help the victims of Oklahoma City and Moore.
Guidance will match every dollar you donate, up to $5,000, to the American Red Cross.
The American Red Cross has several shelters open in Oklahoma and Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicles have begun delivering hot meals throughout the affected areas. The Red Cross is also working to link loved ones in Moore who are OK through a website called Safe and Well.
“While all of my family and friends living and working in Oklahoma are alive and safe today, many innocent neighbors and children are not,” said Jason Meugniot, President & CEO of Guidance. “The resulting funds raised through our program will support the American Red Cross in its mission to help the residents of Oklahoma, ravaged by the monstrous tornado on Monday.”
Helping Guidance with our aid efforts is Jim McGee, American Red Cross CEO, Central Coast Region, and former Guidance employee.
“The American Red Cross is working around the clock to help the people in Oklahoma,” said McGee. “Private donations like those of Guidance and others will help to quickly provide shelter, food, water, and supplies needed by the victims, as well as trained volunteers to help provide the critical relief and mental health support our community needs,” he continued.
Guidance will match all donations made through Friday, June 7, 2013 to meet the immediate need for aid.
To participate in our matching program, please make your checks out to the “American Red Cross”, complete this form, and mail both to:
ATTN: Oklahoma Relief Fund

We will mail your check and completed form, along with our matching check, to the American Red Cross.
Let’s work together to help the Oklahoma victims rebuild their lives.
