Skwibble
Known for its cutting-edge visuals, political satire and pop culture references, Skwibble is a free eCard service that allows users to send messages, invites and announcements in a fun and artistic way. A client since 2007, Skwibble’s owner, Derek Shields contacted Guidance to create a site where he could repurpose all of the creative assets he has produced over the years as co-founder of The Arterie, a creative agency specializing in entertainment advertising and corporate branding. In January 2008, Derek’s vision became a reality when Skwibble.com was launched. Guidance provided information architecture and web development services to build the site, and currently provides ongoing hosting and managed services to keep the site up 24x7x365. Guidance hosts Skwibble.com on one of its energy-efficient HP ProLiant servers stored on Savvis’ colocation facilities.
