The Project Manager is responsible for all technical aspects of project management such as defining and managing large project work plans, scope, budgets, technical teams and clients. The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for managing the creation and delivery of high-end web applications.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all technical and creative development aspects of one or more projects
  • Provide leadership to a technical team and interface with client's project team
  • Requirements gathering and business process analysis through effective communication with technology staff and business stakeholders
  • Develop and manage requirements and process flows throughout the SDLC of the project
  • Manage the scope, schedule, cost, risk and issues of the project and track the progress
  • Periodic status reporting and presentations to senior management, clients and other stakeholders
  • Create and maintain business and technical documentation, such as project plans, Use Cases, Application Business Process Flows, Page Specifications, ERD's, QA plans and scripts and application architecture diagrams
Experience/Skills
The Project Manager should preferably come from a Big 5 consulting firm with extensive experience managing the successful delivery of web based applications.

Must have at least 5 years prior experience with the following:
  • Leading teams of software/web developers
  • Managing custom web development projects
  • Deploying package implementations
  • Managing executive-level clients
  • Facilitating creative requirements sessions with clients
  • Facilitating technical requirements sessions with clients
  • Participating in pre-sales meetings and proposal development
Would be nice if you have the following experience:
  • Working with content management systems
  • Building applications for eCommerce, social networking, workflow and document management, entertainment industry.
  • Agile methodology
Education
Bachelor's degree is required; PMI certification a plus
