Senior Sales Representative

Guidance is seeking a Senior Sales Representative to drive and manage sales efforts. The primary objective for this role will be to obtain new business and support aggressive growth. You will be responsible for both identifying and selling to new clients while continuing to develop and grow business with existing clients. You must be able to establish effective rapport with appropriate client executives to understand their needs and work with the Guidance Delivery Team to deliver accurate proposals for service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personally sell $1MM to $1.5MM your first year by selling software development services, especially in the area of eCommerce
  • Bring to the table your extensive list of well-known, high-level contacts, at Fortune 1000 companies so that you can make an immediate impact on our revenue and your wallet
  • Generate leads from relationships, through personally conducted outbound campaigns and through partner channels
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, lead development through closure
  • Work with the EVP of Business Development to construct and follow a sales strategy to penetrate markets and provide management with realistic and attainable sales forecasts
  • Work with the Managing Director of Services, consulting and sales teams to identify and scope new opportunities and develop proposals that reflect customer requirements and objectives
  • Support client and project managers in up/cross selling project services to existing client base
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key partners such as Microsoft, ASPDNSF and Magento

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years selling consulting services in the software solutions/services industry and a proven track record exceeding personal sales quotas
  • Ability to quickly establish and maintain key relationships within prospect companies
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives in Fortune 1000 companies
  • Experience selling deals from $100k to $1MM
  • Experience managing on-going client relationships and successfully up-selling when appropriate
  • Experience collecting requirements and developing sales proposals and contracts
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication, business acumen, and presentation skills
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in CS, business, sales or marketing
