The World of Online Shopping

Requests for multi-language and multi-currency support have quickly risen as top features when evaluating eCommerce platforms to build our clients’ sites on. No surprise there – there is a lot of opportunity for eCommerce in foreign markets, with countries like China, Brazil and Mexico all expecting to see yearly increases of up to 30% for the next 5 years. Though the U.S. accounts for about a third of the global eCommerce market, it ranks third in annual per capital online spending (U.K ranks first and Denmark, second).
