Guidance Fashion & Apparel Clients Rack Up Sales!

The latest ComScore numbers* don't lie.  The fashion and apparel vertical is now the reigning champ in eCommerce. In three of four quarters of 2015, sales of apparel topped all eCommerce sales.  And, mobile is the reason why.

“The Apparel category is experiencing faster growth than Computers, largely due to buying on mobile,” Adam Lella, a senior analyst at comScore, said in an email to Quartz. “M-commerce is where most of the digital commerce growth is happening in retail overall, and people are more likely to purchase less expensive, less complex products on mobile (e.g. Apparel) than they are to buy computer products.”

And that growth is evident with Guidance clients, as well.  In 2015, Guidance fashion and apparel clients achieved a 41.45% online revenue growth, as compared to 2014!  

Robert Graham, the luxury designer of clothing for men and women, experienced vast growth post redesign and optimization of their checkout:

  • Desktop conversion rates jumped in 2015 by 27%, as compared to the same time period in 2014.
  • Transactions increased by 4% and AOV increased by 2.5% in 2015.


SOL, the high-end lingerie retailer, known for unparalleled bra-fitting expertise and exquisite European lingerie, realized immense growth after redesigning and replatforming:

  • Online revenue, including mobile, grew approximately 104% during the first six week period post launch, with mobile representing 60% of total online revenue - more than double the industry aberage of about 27%.  SOL has never experience this type of rapid sales growth in its 18-year history.
