BarCamp L.A. is here

April 28, 2011

BarCamp L.A.
Guidance is sponsoring this year’s BarCamp L.A. “unconference” which will take place this Saturday, April 30th and Sunday, May 1st at Mt. Washington Elementary (3981 San Rafael Avenue) here in Los Angeles.

BarCamp is an international network of user-generated conferences - or as we call them, unconferences. They are open, participatory workshop-type events, whose content is provided by participants. Though content ranges through a variety of subjects, BarCamps are typically focused on Web applications, open source technologies, social protocols, and open data formats.

If you are planning on attending the event, and are an eCommerce Project Manager, a Web/Graphic Designer, or PHP, .NET and/or ColdFusion Developer, bring your resume with you as we’ll be actively looking for talented professionals to join our team.

Tickets are $55 and are sold at BarCamp L.A.’s website – http://www.barcamp.org.

Hope to see you there!
